9 Creative Wellness Gifts for the Holidays: A Guide

What is your love language?

I’m a fan of quality time. So when I think about celebratory moments, I’m most excited about going to dinner with folks or spending time together on a staycation. I have quite a few BFFs and family members who, although they‘d enjoy a long walk in the park, aren’t shy about their appreciation for the perfect gift. So if, like them, giving and receiving gifts is your love language, then the holidays may be a great time to express your love.

With support from a great gift giver, we’ve collected a few items to offer yourself, or loved ones, during this holiday season.

  1. Of course we need to start here with a YOGAMOTIF Virtual Studio Membership. For just $33/month enjoy on-demand yoga, meditation, and wellness classes to fit your personal practice. Visit studio.yogamotif.com to learn more.

  2. For those where the holidays can be a tough time, connect with Moonset & Co. where Carrie McCann offers integrative grief, horticulture therapy, and death doula support.

  3. Consider 1 hour Kids Wheel Lesson for youth ages 14 - 18 at Kiln-N-Time. Your budding artist might be excited for a tactile experience in clay.

  4. Buy tickets to the Kelly Strayhorn Theater Confluence Ballet Presentation of Nutcracker for a Difference, December 16 - 17th. '

  5. Gift a family membership to the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh.

  6. Register yourself and a friend for a wheel throwing or general ceramics class at the Union Project.

  7. Share a gift from Triple Moon Alchemy, the Bosom Buddy Breast Oil blended with dandelion, plantain, and lavender infused olive oil.

  8. Gift a Yin Yoni Steam blend from Triple Moon Alchemy, a blend made with herbs known to clear stagnation and increase blood flow to refresh and revive the yoni.

  9. Above all else, we hope you find the gift of rest. The holidays can be a demanding time. If gift-giving doesn’t invite ease, spend quality time with loved ones in ways that inspire rest and restoration in your body and relationships.
