Hello! Cheyenne Penelope Campbell, or Chey for short, was born and raised on the east side of pittsburgh, primarily Homewood. Cheyenne has spent many years working in the nonprofit sector inspired by her lived experiences as an inner city black woman. Cheyenne is now focusing on discovering what brings her the most joy! She’s discovered/ discovering that motherhood, community, song/ music/, movement/ yoga, laughter/ comedy, food, culture, traveling, creating are a few things that bring her true joy! Cheyenne was apart of the 5th YROL 200hr anti racist raja teacher training cohort from 2022-2023. Cheyenne is excited to bring all the things she finds joy and incorporate them into her practice. Cheyenne is raising a young Yogi, Neema, who loves to practice yoga herself!

Alecia Dawn Young

Alecia Dawn Young is yoga and meditation guide, artist, scholar, and is the founder of YOGAMOTIF. With a career that spans a commitment to community arts education and wellness, her work is grounded in the collective healing of Black m/others and the relationship between arts education, mental health, and well-being. Alecia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Alfred University, Master of Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and is a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh.
